Tina - Triple Negative Breast Cancer
Tina Christian has always understood the value of a healthy lifestyle and regular cancer screenings; after all, she works in healthcare. But when she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, she became the patient — and gained a new perspective on how important it is for patients to advocate for their care.
Vandela Morales - Patient Care Coordinator
From a young age, Vandela wanted to practice medicine. She also wants to find ways to aid marginalized and underserved groups and expand the scope of medical practices in those communities. She joined the SCCA Proton Therapy Center to continue her career in medicine and to expose herself to patient-centered care.
