Launching a new Support Group

The SCCA Proton Therapy Center is starting a new, everyone-is-welcome support group for our patients. This group is for people with any type of cancer, in any stage of proton therapy treatment. Please join us for this free monthly gathering.

At the support group, you have the opportunity to share and learn in a supportive environment with others who are living with similar challenges. You can learn from those who are post-treatment, or help those preparing for treatment, and everywhere in-between. .

We will also offer, every other month, educational presentations, on various helpful topics. This past month we hosted Dr. Peterson, ND, who spoke on "Integrating Naturopathic Medicine with Proton Therapy."

The group will be facilitated by Denise Krouse, a licensed mental health counselor with Cancer Lifeline.

Date: Third Saturday of every month

Place: SCCA Proton Therapy Center Lobby

Time: 10 to 11:30 a.m.

RSVPs to Meredith Fane are appreciated, however they are not required for attendance.
