Before starting his new job with SCCA Proton Therapy Center, he worked as an executive assistant with Evergreen Home Loans. He provided assistance to the top producer in the office for over five years. Read Christopher's answers to our 5 Questions:

How did you get started in your line of work?

I went to school to obtain a degree in Paralegal Studies. After graduation, I slowly began building my administrative assistant skills and here I am!

What does “proton therapy” say to you?

My first response is if beams are talking to me I may need help! In all seriousness though, it is a way to treat a patient and bring them back to a healthy life style. I have a friend with colon cancer and I have seen what radiation treatment can do. If we can avoid those devastating side effects, it is wonderful.

Tell us about your hobbies. What do you like to do?

I love to travel. I just returned from two weeks in Hawaii. And I love a great glass of wine. I am a big fan of theater. The most recent show I attended was “In the Heights” at Seattle Rep. Finally, I enjoy reading a good spy thriller, murder mystery, or historical fiction book. I am also an avid reader of autobiographies.

Tell us something surprising about you.

I have meet a wide range of celebrities from Robin Williams to George Takei. I met Robin Williams in Detroit leaving the Fox Theater after a show. He was warm, kind, funny, and engaging. George Takei was the Grand Marshall of the Seattle Pride Parade a few years ago. I met him at a breakfast the pride committee throws before the parade.

I have also met several stage and television actors after shows while waiting at the backstage door for an autograph. These have included some actors such as Megan Mullally of "Will and Grace," Conrad Ricamora of "How to Get Away with Murder," and Darren Criss. The photo is of Darren Criss, whom I met after "Hedwig and the Angry Inch." He was also in "Glee" and recently won an Emmy for his role in "American Crime Story."

I have also met Presidents Carter (at a book tour event) and Bush (both father and son). In high school I heard President Clinton speak.

What’s your favorite quote, and why?

“K.B.O. – Keep Buggering On!” by Winston Churchill. I love this quote because it is the most succinct way to a simple idea. In times of trial and adversity, keep your head down, keep your wits about you, and keep moving forward. It will always get better.
