Your Insurance Questions Answered
Some of the most common questions we are asked at the Center deal with insurance coverage and financial aspects of receiving care. We have rounded up a number of these questions and provided some answers. It’s important to note that answers can vary widely based on the patient’s disease site and stage, insurance policy, and the state in which the insurance company is based, among others.
A Young Boy's Legacy Lives On
He was only ten, but after many months of surgery and proton therapy for a metastasis of his original tumor, and knowing that his time was limited, Wyatt decided he would spend the remainder of his life committed to making other kids with cancer feel better.
Randy - Prostate Cancer
After a routine physical revealed that he had elevated PSA levels, Randy was shocked to discover he had prostate cancer. “That phone call from my urologist was tough!” says Randy. “My dad had prostate cancer at 75. My PSA had been trending up a bit, but I figured I had another 20 years before I had to deal with it. It is very concerning to hear that you have cancer!” Learn what steps Randy took next.
