Prostate Cancer

Dr. Weg is a radiation oncologist with expertise in proton therapy who specializes in genitourinary cancers including prostate cancer. She is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington.

Dr. Weg earned her medical degree at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed her residency in radiation oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she was Chief Resident during her final year.

Dr. Weg’s current research interests include assessing variables that maximize the efficacy of radiation treatment while minimizing toxicity. This includes studying how dose, fractionation, and radiation modality impact outcomes, as well as how genomics can predict a tumor's behavior and response to treatment.
