John Kang, MD PhD

Lung Cancer

Dr. Kang is a radiation oncologist with expertise in proton therapy. Dr. Kang  specializes in lung cancer and thoracic malignancies. He is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington.  

Dr. Kang earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of Rochester. He earned his Doctorate at Carnegie Mellon University.

Dr. Kang is also the University of Washington Department of Radiation Oncology biomedical informatics lead.
