Meet Our Dedicated Doctors.

The radiation oncologists who provide clinical care at the Center are all faculty of the University of Washington Department of Radiation Oncology. They will plan your course of therapy, manage your clinical care and conduct weekly check-ups to ensure that the treatment is on track. At the end of your treatment, they will also provide you and your physician with a concise treatment summary.

Having trained at some of the best cancer centers in the country, including UW Medicine, Harvard, MD Anderson, University of Pennsylvania, Stanford, Georgetown and Johns Hopkins, the radiation oncologists at the UW Department of Radiation Oncology are leaders in the field and are known for clinical excellence as well as research in cancer care.

With specializations in brain, head and neck, breast, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, prostate and pediatric cancers, our physicians have the expertise to provide the highest level of medical care to patients.

Dr. Apisarnthanarax is a board-certified radiation oncologist with expertise in proton therapy who specializes in prostate and gastrointestinal cancers, including liver, pancreas, esophagus, rectum and anal cancers. He is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington. Previous to joining Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Dr. Apisarnthanarax was Assistant Professor and Associate Residency Program Director at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
